Root canal therapy, done to save the tooth
A tooth needs root canal therapy when decay or an old filling lets bacteria reach the pulp, the soft tissue that holds a tooth's nerve and blood supply. Left alone, that infection causes real pain and usually ends with the tooth pulled. Root canal therapy clears the infected tissue out and seals the space, so you keep the tooth you already have instead of losing it. TMJ and jaw pain evaluation
Jaw pain, clicking or a jaw that feels stuck or tired isn't something to just live with. The temporomandibular joint connects your jaw to your skull on each side, and when it's irritated or out of alignment it can cause headaches, ear soreness and pain when you chew. A TMJ evaluation at Buckley Dental Care starts with Dr. Chaudhry looking at how your jaw moves and asking about when the pain shows up, before talking through what might help.
Some jaw pain settles down with a simple bite adjustment or a night guard, and some needs more time to track before a plan makes sense. Either way, the evaluation itself doesn't commit you to anything beyond that first conversation, and it fits into a normal visit at 761 Main St, the same office that's been on this block since 1973.
